Welcome to our Cob Studio!

Work contines on the studio! We currently have a crew working to roof and finish the cob phase.

Check this page for the latest pix and news about Ahimsa Sanctuary's second cob building, a creekside studio started by our former apprentice Perry Uber. This cottage features dry fit stone and urbanite foundation, custom driftwood door framing, cantilevered stairs, and other unique features.




The work was aided by several volunteers, many from the Organic Volunteers website, including two brothers Andrew and Aaron St. Jean who rode a Greyhound bus out to Oregon from New Hampshire!

We anticipate work will slow during the approaching rainy season, but with proper tarping and a space heater, who knows...?!
